As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The contribution is supposed to be original and unpublished and should not be under review for publication in another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the Editor".
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references that have been provided.
  • The text should be double-spaced; it should be12 font size; should be italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); finally, all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text is supposed to follow the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Authors should read the “Instructions for Authors” on the journal's page before making a submission. The manuscript must be prepared according to the style and specifications of the journal's policy.

The authors listed in the manuscript must meet the authorship requirements specified above. Whenever possible, specify the contribution of each of the authors.

All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission. As soon as a manuscript is submitted, it is assumed that all authors have read and given their approval for the submission of the manuscript.

Contact information for all authors must be indicated in the manuscript. For instance:  Surname/other names, affiliation, e-mails and phone/fax numbers.

The Declaration of Conflicts of Interest must be stated in the manuscript.
